Madol Duwa Island became more famous due to the ‘Madol Duwa’ novel written by the great novelist Martin Wickramasinghe. Later Koggala was identified as the village of the great novelist. The surrounding is tranquil albeit you can hear the shivering tones and trembling sounds of the water. Sometimes you will find reptiles pacing on the shimmering water.
