Koduruwapola Raja maha viharaya is thought to be built by Meegasthanne Adikaram during the reign of King Sri Wickrama Rajasingha (1797 - 1814) is adorned with traditional Sinhala architecture.

Regularly to visit the temple you have to come to Narammala town and take Narammala - Kuliyapitiya main road. Then turn left from the Ganangamuwa junction and within 2 km you will be in front of the gate of the Koduruwapola Raja MahaViharaya.
